Water leaks from around the water reservoir area onto the counter.

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before removing the reservoir.

• Remove and inspect reservoir: Take the reservoir off the base and fill it over a sink. Check for cracks or leaks from seams.
• Inspect outlet valve and O-ring: Look at the bottom outlet where it mates with the coffee maker. If the rubber O-ring is flattened, cracked, or missing, it can cause leaks.
• Clean mating surfaces: Wipe the reservoir outlet and the inlet port on the coffee maker with a damp cloth to remove coffee residue or scale.
• Reseat firmly: Reinstall the reservoir, pressing it down until it is fully seated and stable.
• Replace reservoir if needed: If the reservoir leaks when off the machine or the outlet valve is damaged, replace the entire reservoir assembly.
