• 2. Check for obstructions: Inspect the brew chamber for loose coffee pucks, foreign objects, or misaligned parts that could block movement.
• 3. Lubricate moving parts: Apply food-grade silicone grease to the brew group rails and moving joints as recommended by Electrolux.

Advanced checks:

• 4. Inspect drive gears: Remove the side panel to access the brew drive motor and gear train. Look for cracked or missing teeth on plastic gears.
• 5. Test motor: With the motor disconnected, apply the rated DC voltage (per service manual) briefly to confirm it spins freely. Replace if seized or non-functional.
• 6. Check position switches: Locate the brew group home and brew position microswitches or Hall sensors. Test continuity when actuated. Replace faulty sensors.

Resolution: Most E06 errors are resolved by cleaning and lubricating the brew group. If mechanical parts are damaged, replace the brew group assembly or drive motor kit.
