Possible Causes
Airlock in pump, Failed vibration pump, Blocked inlet filter on water tank, Kinked or pinched inlet hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Always unplug the machine before removing the water tank or covers.
Basic checks:
- 1. Re-seat water tank: Remove the reservoir, rinse it, and ensure the outlet valve at the bottom moves freely. Reinstall firmly until it clicks.
- 2. Prime the pump: Fill the tank completely. If your model has a hot water function, run it several times to draw water through the system and clear air.
- 3. Check inlet filter: Inspect the small mesh filter at the tank outlet or inside the machine's tank socket. Clean any debris or scale.
Advanced steps:
- 4. Inspect hoses: Remove the cover and check the silicone hose from the tank to the pump for kinks or compression.
- 5. Test pump: Disconnect the outlet hose and place it into a container. Briefly power the pump (via service mode or direct power) to see if it delivers a strong pulsed flow. Replace the pump if weak or silent.
Resolution: If priming and cleaning do not restore normal operation, replace the Ulka-style vibration pump with an Electrolux-specified equivalent.
