Safety: Allow the steam circuit to cool and unplug the machine before disassembling the milk system.

User-level cleaning:

• 1. Disassemble milk system: Remove the milk carafe, suction tube, and frother head. Soak all removable parts in hot water with food-safe detergent for 15–20 minutes.
• 2. Clear nozzles: Use the cleaning tool or a fine needle to clear any dried milk from the frother nozzle and air intake holes.
• 3. Run cleaning cycle: Many Electrolux models have a milk system cleaning program. Run it with clean water to flush internal passages.

Advanced checks:

• 4. Inspect milk solenoid valve: Open the housing and locate the solenoid controlling milk/steam routing. Check for loose wires and listen for a click when activated. Replace if non-functional.

Resolution: Most E11 errors are resolved by thorough cleaning of the milk circuit. If the solenoid or steam circuit is defective, replacement parts may be required.
