How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before cleaning or opening the control panel.
- Clean surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly on the panel.
- Dry out moisture: If liquid was spilled on the panel, leave the unit unplugged for 24 hours to dry.
- Reseat ribbon cable (advanced): Remove the control panel and carefully reseat the flat ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the main board.
- Replace keypad: If specific buttons never respond, replace the control panel/keypad assembly with a compatible Farberware part.
