Possible Causes
Heavy limescale buildup in heating element, Clogged water inlet screen, Coffee oils blocking drip head, Partially blocked silicone tubing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and let it cool before cleaning.
- Descale thoroughly: Fill the reservoir with a 1:1 vinegar and water mix. Run a brew cycle until half is used, pause for 20 minutes, then finish. Repeat if flow is still slow.
- Clean inlet screen: Remove the reservoir and inspect the inlet screen or valve. Clean with a soft brush and warm water.
- Clean drip head: Remove the brew basket and wipe the underside of the water outlet/drip head with a cloth. Use a toothpick to gently clear any blocked holes.
- Inspect tubing (advanced): With the bottom cover removed, check silicone hoses for kinks or mineral buildup. Replace any hardened or collapsed tubing.
