Drip-stop feature does not work; coffee continues to drip when carafe is removed.

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and let it cool before working under the brew basket.

• Clean the mechanism: Remove the brew basket and thoroughly clean the drip-stop valve and surrounding area with warm soapy water.
• Check spring action: Ensure the valve moves freely and returns to the closed position when released. If it sticks, soak and clean again.
• Inspect seal: Look for cracks or flattening of the rubber seal. Replace the drip-stop assembly if worn.
• Verify carafe position: Make sure the carafe is correctly positioned so its lid presses the actuator fully when in place.
