How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not force the brew group; you may break it.
Step 1 – Power cycle with doors closed:
- Reinsert the drip tray and close the service door.
- Turn the machine off and on to allow it to attempt to reset the brew group position.
Step 2 – Gentle movement:
- If the machine allows, gently wiggle the brew group while the machine is off to relieve tension, then try removal again.
Step 3 – Advanced manual reset:
- Unplug and remove the housing.
- Manually rotate the brew drive gear slightly to move the group toward its home position, then try removing the brew group.
Step 4 – Inspect and clean:
- Once removed, clean and lubricate the brew group.
- Remove any foreign objects from the brew chamber.
