Display shows “Error 20”; machine may leak internally or fail to build pressure.

Safety first: Unplug the machine and allow it to cool. Hot water under pressure can cause burns.

Step 1 – Clean coffee spouts:

• Use a cleaning brush or Jura cleaning tool to clear the coffee spouts and outlet channels.
• Run a rinse cycle and check for normal flow.

Step 2 – Check drip tray and sensors:

• Empty and clean the drip tray; ensure the metal contacts or float sensor (depending on model) are clean and dry.
• Reinsert the tray fully.

Step 3 – Descale the hydraulic circuit:

• Run a full descaling cycle to clear scale from valves and hoses.

Step 4 – Internal inspection (advanced):

• Remove the housing (unplug first).
• Inspect for signs of internal leaks around the thermoblock, hoses, and connectors.
• Check the overpressure valve for blockage or sticking; clean or replace if necessary.

Step 5 – Replace faulty parts:

• Replace cracked hoses, leaking O-rings, or a faulty overpressure valve.
• If the leak has damaged the main board or sensors, those components may also need replacement.
