• Clean valve: Remove the filter holder and rinse the anti-drip valve under warm water, pressing it repeatedly to clear residue.
• Check carafe alignment: Ensure the carafe is pushed fully back so it correctly actuates the valve when in place.
• Inspect valve: If the valve does not move freely or does not seal when released, it may need replacement.
• Replace filter holder: If the plastic is warped or cracked, install a new original Severin filter holder.
