Possible Causes
Grinder motor jammed by foreign object, Coffee beans too oily causing clogging, Grinder motor brushes worn, Grinder motor driver circuit on PCB faulty
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before accessing the bean hopper or grinder.
E06 indicates the grinder motor cannot start or is overloaded.
- Empty bean hopper: Remove all beans from the hopper. Check for stones or foreign objects and remove them.
- Clean grinder chute: Use the supplied brush or a small, dry brush to clean the grinder outlet and chute. Do not use water.
- Use fresh, non-oily beans: Very oily beans can gum up the burrs. Switch to medium-roast beans and try again.
- Adjust grind setting: Set the grind slightly coarser to reduce load on the motor.
- If the grinder still does not run: The grinder motor or its driver circuit may be defective and require replacement.
