Possible Causes

Severely clogged filters causing high load, Partially seized main motor bearings, Faulty turbo mode driver circuit on PCB, Low battery voltage under load

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove it from the charger. Let the unit cool if it feels warm.

  • Step 1 – Fully charge the battery: Place the vacuum on the AEG charger until the battery indicator shows full charge. Low voltage can trigger E10 in turbo mode.
  • Step 2 – Clean filters and bin: Empty the dust container and clean all filters thoroughly as per the manual. Ensure they are completely dry before refitting.
  • Step 3 – Check for blockages: Inspect the extension tube, hose (if applicable), and nozzle for obstructions. Clear any debris.
  • Step 4 – Test on normal mode: Run the vacuum on standard power for several minutes. If it operates normally, briefly switch to turbo. If E10 appears only in turbo, the motor may be near failure.
  • Step 5 – Avoid continuous turbo on thick carpets: Use turbo mode in shorter bursts to reduce load.
  • Step 6 – Persistent E10 even with clean airflow and full battery: The main motor or turbo driver circuit on the PCB is likely faulty. Professional diagnosis and possible motor/PCB replacement are required.
