Possible Causes
Loose battery latch or contacts, Worn battery connector in handle, Broken internal wiring, Faulty safety tilt switch (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before inspecting contacts.
- Step 1 – Check battery fit: Reinsert the battery pack firmly until it clicks. Ensure there is no play or wobble.
- Step 2 – Inspect contacts: Look at the metal contacts on the battery and inside the handle. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive tools.
- Step 3 – Test for movement: With the vacuum running, gently tap the handle and move it through normal angles (keep fingers away from moving parts). If it cuts out, the connection is intermittent.
- Step 4 – Replace battery or handle housing: If the contacts are worn or the latch is loose, replace the battery pack first. If the issue persists, the handle connector or internal wiring will need professional repair.
