Possible Causes
Weak battery cells unable to supply Turbo current, High resistance in battery contacts, Partially shorted main motor drawing excessive current, Faulty current sense resistor on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting contacts.
- Step 1 – Fully charge battery: Charge the battery to 100% and then immediately test Turbo mode. Low charge can trigger current limit errors.
- Step 2 – Clean contacts: Clean the battery and main body contacts with a dry cloth. Ensure there is no discoloration or pitting.
- Step 3 – Test with another battery (if available): If a second Cecotec battery works normally in Turbo, the original battery is weak and should be replaced.
If E15 persists with a known-good battery, the main motor or current sensing circuit is likely faulty and requires service.
