Vacuum emits a squealing noise from the floor head when the brushroll is spinning.

Possible Causes
Dry or worn brushroll end bearings, Hair wrapped under bearing caps, Dust ingress into bearing surfaces
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floor head.
- Step 1 – Remove brushroll: Take out the brushroll and remove end caps (if removable).
- Step 2 – Clean bearings: Remove hair and dust from the bearing area.
- Step 3 – Light lubrication (if allowed): Apply a tiny drop of light machine oil to the bearing shaft, avoiding plastic parts. Not all models support lubrication; check the manual.
If squealing continues or the bearings feel rough, replace the brushroll assembly.
