Possible Causes
Faulty charger, Defective BMS not signaling full charge, High self‑discharge battery cells, Temperature sensor misreading
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not leave the vacuum on charge unattended for very long periods if abnormal behavior is suspected.
- Step 1 – Time the charge: Note how long the vacuum has been on charge. Most Clatronic cordless vacuums should reach full charge within 3–6 hours.
- Step 2 – Check charger temperature: If the charger or battery becomes excessively hot, unplug immediately.
- Step 3 – Try another outlet/charger: If possible, test with a known‑good Clatronic charger of the same model.
- Step 4 – Replace battery pack: If the charger is OK but the pack never indicates full, the BMS or cells are likely faulty. Replace the battery pack.
