Possible Causes
Mini turbo brush turbine jammed, Shorted accessory motor, Dirty or seized bearings in mini brush, Damaged accessory connector pins
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the mini turbo brush before working on it.
- Step 1 – Mechanical cleaning: Open the mini turbo brush housing (usually clips or screws). Remove the brush roll and clear all hair and fibers from the ends and bearings.
- Step 2 – Check free rotation: Spin the brush roll by hand. It should rotate smoothly. If it binds, clean or replace the bearings or the entire brush roll.
- Step 3 – Inspect connector: Check the electrical connector on the mini brush and the mating connector on the vacuum/tube. Straighten any bent pins.
- Step 4 – Test without accessory: Run the vacuum without the mini brush to confirm the main unit is OK. If F4 only appears with the mini brush, replace the mini turbo brush assembly.
