Possible Causes
Loose inductor or transformer on PCB, PWM frequency within audible range, Failing capacitor, Poor PCB mounting causing vibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the handle or body.
- Step 1 – Identify source: Run the vacuum and carefully listen to locate the noise (handle, body, or nozzle). Do not touch internal parts while powered.
- Step 2 – Check mounting: After removing the battery, open the housing and ensure the PCB is firmly secured. Tighten screws and add foam pads if necessary to reduce vibration.
- Step 3 – Inspect components: Look for loose coils or inductors that may vibrate. In workshop conditions, these can be secured with suitable adhesive.
- Step 4 – PCB replacement: If the noise is accompanied by malfunction or overheating, replace the main control PCB.
