Possible Causes

Broken wire inside extension tube, Loose tube contacts, Worn connector pins between body and tube, Cracked tube housing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting electrical connectors.

  • Step 1 – Reproduce fault: Run the vacuum and gently move the tube. If power cuts in and out, the tube wiring or connectors are suspect.
  • Step 2 – Inspect connectors: Check the electrical contacts at both ends of the tube for corrosion or bent pins. Clean and straighten as needed.
  • Step 3 – Tube replacement: On most Clatronic cordless vacuums, the wiring inside the tube is not user‑serviceable. Replace the extension tube with integrated wiring.
