Possible Causes
Dead battery pack, Faulty main power switch, Blown PCB fuse or protection component, Broken internal wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger and remove the battery before opening the unit.
- Step 1 – Check charger and battery: Confirm the charger LED lights when connected. If the battery is removable, try a known‑good battery if available.
- Step 2 – Inspect power switch: Press the power button and feel for a positive click. If it feels loose or stuck, the switch may be broken.
- Step 3 – Open housing: Remove screws and separate the body. Check for any obvious burnt components, loose connectors, or broken wires between the battery and PCB.
- Step 4 – PCB fuse: Some Clatronic boards have a small surface‑mount fuse or resettable fuse. Test continuity with a multimeter and replace the PCB if the fuse is blown and cannot be safely replaced.
