Possible Causes

Debris lodged in wand tube, Blockage at bin inlet flap, Hair and fibers wrapped in cleaner head airway, Foreign object stuck in neck of floor tool

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Switch off and remove the battery. Do not probe blockages with sharp metal tools that could damage plastic parts.

  • Check the wand: Remove the wand from the main body and cleaner head. Look through it against a light. If blocked, push the obstruction out gently with a broom handle or similar smooth rod.
  • Inspect bin inlet: Remove the bin (or open the bottom flap) and look into the cyclone inlet. Clear any compacted dust or objects using your fingers or a plastic tool.
  • Cleaner head airway: Detach the cleaner head. Remove the brush bar (usually via a coin‑operated end cap). Clear hair and debris from the brush bar and the internal airway channel.
  • Check neck and joints: Inspect the neck of the cleaner head and any quick‑release joints for lodged items (e.g., Lego, stones). Remove carefully.
  • Reassemble and test: Refit brush bar, wand, and head. Run the vacuum; the airway warning should clear once airflow is restored.
