Possible Causes
Vacuum stored in cold garage or car, Charging attempted below recommended temperature, Battery chemistry unable to deliver current at low temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not attempt to warm the battery with direct heat sources (radiators, hair dryers, open flame).
- Warm to room temperature: Bring the vacuum and battery indoors and allow them to sit unplugged for at least 1–2 hours until they reach room temperature (around 20°C / 68°F).
- Retry charging: Once warmed, place on the charger and allow a full charge cycle.
- Avoid cold storage: Store the vacuum and battery in a dry, temperate environment. Avoid leaving it in vehicles or unheated sheds in winter.
- Check battery health: If the cold warning appears even at normal room temperatures, the battery’s internal sensor or cells may be faulty; replace the battery pack.
