Possible Causes
Extended use in Max/Boost mode, Blocked filters causing high current draw, High ambient temperature, Battery nearing end of life and heating excessively
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: If the battery feels very hot, place the machine on a non‑flammable surface away from direct sunlight. Do not attempt to cool with water or place in a refrigerator.
- Allow to cool: Leave the vacuum switched off and disconnected from the charger for at least 1 hour to cool to room temperature.
- Check airflow: Clean filters and clear any blockages to reduce load on the motor and battery.
- Use lower power mode: Avoid continuous Max/Boost use; switch to Eco/Normal for general cleaning.
- Environmental conditions: Do not use or charge the vacuum in very hot environments (e.g., in direct sun, near heaters).
- Battery replacement: If overheating warnings occur frequently under normal use, replace the battery pack. Persistent overheating after battery replacement may indicate a motor or control board fault requiring service.
