Vacuum shows a charger icon or does not indicate charging when docked; no lights on the battery when plugged in.

Safety: Unplug the charger from the wall before inspecting. Do not open the charger casing.

• Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another device to confirm power is present.
• Inspect charger cable: Look for cuts, kinks, or damage. If the cable or plug is damaged, replace the charger.
• Bypass dock: If you use a wall dock, try plugging the charger directly into the vacuum or battery (depending on model) to rule out dock issues.
• Clean contacts: Wipe the metal contacts on the dock and battery with a dry cloth to remove dust or oxidation.
• Test with another charger: If available, test with a known‑good genuine Dyson charger. If the vacuum still does not charge, the internal charging PCB or battery may be faulty and require replacement.
