Filter not twisted fully into locked position, Damaged rubber seal on filter, Debris on sealing surfaces, Warped filter housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and remove the battery before adjusting filters.
- Remove and inspect filter: Take out the filter and check the rubber gasket for tears, flattening, or deformation.
- Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the filter seat and gasket with a dry cloth to remove dust that may prevent sealing.
- Refit firmly: Reinstall the filter, twisting or pushing until it clicks and feels secure with no wobble.
- Replace if damaged: If the gasket is worn or the filter is warped, replace with a genuine Dyson filter.
- Test: Run the vacuum and listen for air leaks. If the warning persists, the filter sensor or housing may be damaged and require professional repair.
