How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery and detach the laser head. Do not stare directly into the laser when powered.
- Clean laser window: Wipe the green laser lens/window with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or film.
- Check wiring and contacts: Inspect the neck of the head for visible cable damage and clean the electrical contacts.
- Test on another body: If possible, test the head on another compatible Dyson body to confirm if the fault is in the head or main unit.
- Replace head: If the laser still fails or the head shows error lights, replace the entire laser slim cleaner head. Internal laser and PCB components are not user‑serviceable.
