Possible Causes
User left machine in Max/Boost mode, Mode button stuck or contaminated, Battery capacity degraded, Motor drawing excessive current due to blockage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and remove the battery before inspecting buttons or contacts.
- Exit Max/Boost mode: On most models, press the mode button or tap the Max/Boost button to return to normal or Eco mode. Check the display (V10+ models) to confirm mode change.
- Inspect mode button: Check for dirt or sticky residue around the mode/Max button. Clean gently with a slightly damp cloth; do not allow moisture into the electronics.
- Check for blockages: Ensure filters are clean and airways are clear; high load from blockages can trigger Max warnings and cut‑outs.
- Battery health: If runtime in normal mode is still very short (e.g., under 2–3 minutes), the battery may be worn and require replacement.
- Reset: Remove the battery for 30 seconds, refit, and reselect the desired mode. If the vacuum remains stuck in Max or cuts out immediately, professional diagnosis of the control PCB and motor is recommended.
