Possible Causes
Blocked filters or airways causing low airflow, Extended use in high power mode, Motor bearings worn and drawing excess current, Ventilation slots blocked by dust
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off, remove the battery, and allow the machine to cool for at least 1 hour before further use.
- Clean filters and airways: Wash filters and clear all blockages in wand, bin inlet, and cleaner head.
- Check vents: Inspect the motor housing vents for dust buildup and gently clean with a dry brush or cloth.
- Use appropriate power mode: Avoid continuous Max/Boost use for long periods; use Eco/Normal for general cleaning.
- Test after cooling: Once cooled and cleaned, refit the battery and test. If the vacuum overheats and cuts out again quickly, the motor may be failing and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
