Steps to try:

• Check battery seating: Remove the lithium-ion battery pack and reinstall it firmly until it clicks. Many Eureka cordless models (e.g., RapidClean Pro, NEC180 series) will not power if the pack is slightly loose.
• Test battery charge: Place the battery on the Eureka charger. Confirm the charger LED turns on and that the battery LEDs begin to sequence. Charge for at least 3 hours, then try again.
• Bypass docking station: If you normally charge via a wall mount, plug the charger directly into the battery (if model allows) to rule out a faulty dock.
• Inspect trigger switch: With the battery removed, gently pull the trigger and listen/feel for a click. If it feels mushy or stuck, debris may be lodged. Use compressed air around the trigger area and gently work it back and forth.
• Check for visible wiring damage: If you are comfortable opening the handle shell, remove the screws, separate the housing, and inspect the wiring harness from the battery terminals to the main PCB and trigger switch. Look for burnt spots, loose connectors, or broken solder joints.
• When to stop: If the vacuum still shows no signs of life after trying a known-good battery (borrowed or replacement), the main control PCB or internal wiring is likely faulty. At this point, replacement of the control board or professional service is recommended.
