Possible Causes

Dirty or bent electrical contacts between body and nozzle, Damaged nozzle wiring harness, Failed brushroll sensor, Faulty nozzle PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floor nozzle before cleaning contacts.

Steps to try:

  • Clean connection pins: On the end of the wand and the inlet of the floor nozzle, locate the metal contact pins. Wipe them gently with a dry cloth.
  • Check for bent pins: Ensure none of the pins are pushed in or bent. Carefully straighten slightly bent pins with small pliers.
  • Test without wand: If your model allows, connect the nozzle directly to the main body, bypassing the wand. If it works, the wand wiring is faulty.
  • Inspect nozzle wiring: Open the nozzle housing and check the wiring harness from the connector to the brushroll motor and sensor. Look for breaks or loose plugs.
  • Replace nozzle assembly: If the PCB or sensor is damaged, replacing the entire motorized floor nozzle is usually more practical than board-level repair.
