Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum, remove the battery pack, and disconnect the floor nozzle from the wand before working on the brushroll.

Steps to try:

• Remove brushroll: On most Eureka cordless heads, release the end cap or bottom plate using a coin or screwdriver. Lift out the brushroll.
• Clear obstructions: Cut away hair, threads, and fibers from the bristles and end caps. Ensure the brushroll spins freely on its bearings.
• Inspect belt (if applicable): Some Eureka cordless nozzles use a small drive belt. Check for cracks, stretching, or breakage. Replace if loose or broken.
• Check for blockages in nozzle: Look inside the nozzle air path for clogs. Remove any debris that could be stressing the brushroll motor.
• Test brushroll motor: Reinstall the brushroll and battery, then briefly power on the vacuum while holding the nozzle off the floor. If the brushroll still does not spin but suction works, the brushroll motor or nozzle PCB may be faulty.
• Electrical check (advanced): With the battery removed, open the nozzle housing and inspect the wiring from the nozzle connector to the brushroll motor. Look for burnt spots or loose connectors. Replace the motorized floor nozzle assembly if the motor or PCB is damaged.
