How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If the battery or charger is too hot to touch comfortably, unplug the charger immediately. Do not cover the charger or battery while charging.
Step-by-step:
- 1. Move to a cooler area: Charge the battery in a well‑ventilated room away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- 2. Ensure ventilation: Place the charger on a hard, flat surface with space around it for airflow.
- 3. Monitor temperature: During the next charge, periodically check the battery and charger. Warm is normal; very hot is not.
If overheating recurs, stop using the charger and battery and contact an authorised Henry/Numatic service centre. Do not attempt to repair or open the charger or battery.
