Ineffective Agitation / Worn Brush Bar
Brush bar spins but there is poor pickup of debris from carpets

Possible Causes
Worn bristles on Henry cordless brush bar, Incorrect height setting on floor head (if adjustable), Blocked suction channel behind brush bar, Using hard floor tool on carpet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before working on the floor head.
Step-by-step:
- 1. Inspect bristles: Turn the floor head over and examine the brush bar. If the bristles are worn down, uneven, or matted with hair, performance will drop.
- 2. Clean the brush bar: Remove hair and fibres with scissors and a comb. Ensure the bristles stand proud of the brush bar body.
- 3. Check suction channel: Look behind the brush bar into the suction channel for blockages and remove any debris.
- 4. Use correct tool: Ensure you are using the motorised Henry cordless floor head on carpets, not a hard floor or upholstery tool.
If the bristles are visibly worn or the brush bar is damaged, replace the brush bar or the entire floor head assembly with a genuine Henry cordless part.
