Vacuum stops during use, red fault light and E2 indication, motor will not restart until cooled

Possible Causes
Blocked floor nozzle, Blocked wand or hose, Severely clogged pre‑motor filter, Motor cooling path obstruction
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack before inspecting for blockages.
Step-by-step:
- 1. Allow cooling: Let the machine sit for at least 30 minutes with the battery removed so the motor thermal cut‑out can reset.
- 2. Check the floor nozzle: Remove the Henry cordless floor head. Inspect the brush opening and air channel for hair, string, or debris. Cut away wrapped hair with scissors and pull out any blockages.
- 3. Inspect the wand and hose: Detach the wand and hose from the main body. Look through them against a light source. Use a broom handle or flexible rod to gently push out any clogs. Do not puncture or crush the hose.
- 4. Clean the pre‑motor filter: Open the dust container, remove the dust bin and lift out the pre‑motor filter (often a pleated or fabric filter). Tap it gently outdoors to remove dust. If the manual allows, rinse with lukewarm water only and let it dry completely (24 hours) before refitting.
- 5. Check motor vents: Inspect the motor housing vents on the Henry cordless body for lint or dust build‑up. Brush or vacuum them clear.
- 6. Test again: Reassemble, refit the fully charged battery, and run the vacuum. Use lower power mode for long runs to reduce heat build‑up.
When to stop: If E2 recurs quickly with clean filters and clear airflow, the motor or thermal sensor may be failing. Contact a service technician; continued use may damage the motor.
