Possible Causes
Debris trapped at front lip of floor head, Blocked internal channels in floor head, Worn or missing front squeegee strip, Incorrect cleaning technique
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before cleaning the floor head.
Step-by-step:
- 1. Inspect front edge: Turn the floor head over and check the front lip and openings for trapped fibres or debris. Remove by hand or with tweezers.
- 2. Clean internal channels: If possible, remove the base plate to access internal air channels and clear any blockages.
- 3. Check squeegee strip: Some Henry cordless heads have a rubber strip at the front. If it is worn, curled, or missing, replace the strip or head.
- 4. Adjust technique: Pull the head slowly towards you rather than pushing quickly forward, especially on carpets with heavy debris.
