• 2. Inspect the hose: Look through the hose against a light. If you cannot see light, there is a blockage. Gently flex the hose to locate the obstruction.
• 3. Clear the hose: Use a long, flexible, blunt rod (such as a curtain rod) to push the blockage out. Do not use sharp objects that could puncture the hose.
• 4. Check the wand: Detach the wand and inspect for clogs or dents. Clear any debris.
• 5. Inspect for cracks and leaks: Run your hand along the hose and wand feeling for splits or holes. Replace any damaged sections.
• 6. Refit securely: Ensure the hose and wand click firmly into place on the body and floor head to maintain a good seal.
