Advertisements
Possible Causes
Continuous high-load operation, High ambient temperature, Blocked cooling vents around battery, Aged battery with higher internal resistance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to cool the battery rapidly with water or refrigeration.
- Allow to cool: Remove the battery and place it in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight until it reaches room temperature.
- Check vents: Ensure that the vacuum’s battery compartment and surrounding vents are not blocked by dust or debris.
- Use appropriate duty cycle: Avoid running the vacuum continuously at maximum power for extended periods. Allow short rest intervals.
- Replace aged batteries: If overheating occurs frequently with normal use, the battery may be near end-of-life and should be replaced.
