Possible Causes
Foreign object jammed in fan wheel, Severely clogged turbine chamber, Damaged motor bearings, Misaligned fan impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before attempting to clear any obstruction.
- Check suction inlet: Remove hose and inspect the inlet and immediate internal area for large debris (chunks of concrete, rags, plastic). Remove any obstruction.
- Inspect fan area (if accessible): Some models allow limited access to the fan chamber via service covers. If you can see the fan, check for debris wedged between blades.
- Do not force rotation: Do not attempt to spin the motor shaft with tools; this can damage bearings or magnets.
- Test after clearing: Reinstall the battery and briefly test. If the LED still blinks three times and the motor sounds strained, the bearings or impeller may be damaged.
- Professional repair: Motor disassembly and fan replacement should be performed by a service technician.
