Vacuum will not charge, charger LED flashes or E7 appears on display

Safety: Unplug the charger from the mains before inspection. Do not use damaged power cords.

• Check wall outlet: Plug another device (lamp/phone charger) into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
• Inspect charger and cable: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks on the cable and plug. If damaged, stop using it immediately and replace with a genuine Hoover H-Free charger.
• Check plug fuse (if applicable): On UK models with fused plugs, replace the fuse with the correct rating if blown.
• Verify charger compatibility: Ensure you are using the original or Hoover-approved charger with the correct voltage and connector for your H-Free model.
• Test with another charger/battery: If possible, test your battery on another known-good Hoover H-Free charger. If it charges there, replace your charger. If it does not, the battery pack may be faulty.
