Possible Causes
Severe blockage in wand, Blocked inlet at dust bin, Obstruction in floorhead airway, Collapsed flexible hose (on some models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before probing any airways.
- Check dust bin: Remove and empty the bin. Inspect the cyclone inlet for clumps of dust or large debris and clear them.
- Inspect wand and hose: Detach the wand and look through it against a light source. Use a long, blunt object to push out any blockage. On models with a flexible hose, check for kinks or internal collapse.
- Check floorhead airway: Turn the floorhead over and inspect the suction channel behind the brush bar. Remove any lodged objects.
- Clean filters: Clean pre- and post-motor filters as per the user manual. Blocked filters can mimic a blockage.
- Reassemble and test: Once all paths are clear and filters are dry, reassemble and test. If F2 still appears with clear airflow, the pressure sensor or main PCB may be faulty and require professional service.
