Possible Causes
Debris stuck on brush bar, Bent brush bar shaft, Damaged motor fan blades
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before inspecting moving parts.
- Clean brush bar: Remove the brush bar and clean off any clumps of hair or debris that could unbalance it.
- Check for warping: Roll the brush bar on a flat surface. If it wobbles, it is bent and should be replaced.
- Isolate vibration source: Run the handheld unit without the floorhead. If vibration is only present with the floorhead, replace the brush bar or floorhead. If vibration is present without tools, the main motor fan may be damaged.
- Replace affected part: Fit a new Hoover H-Free brush bar or have the main motor assembly replaced by a service centre.
