Possible Causes
Loose battery latch, Worn battery contacts, Cracked internal solder joints
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before inspection.
- Check battery fit: Insert the battery and ensure it clicks firmly into place. There should be no wobble.
- Inspect contacts: Look for burn marks or wear on the battery and vacuum contacts. Clean with a dry cloth.
- Wiggle test: With the unit running, gently move the battery. If power cuts out, the latch or contacts are loose. Then remove the battery before further work.
- Replace battery or housing: If the battery casing is worn, replace the battery pack. If the latch in the vacuum body is damaged, the main housing or contact block may need replacement by a technician.
