Possible Causes
Clogged pre-motor filter, Clogged post-motor filter, Dust build-up in cyclone assembly, Partial blockage in wand or floorhead
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before cleaning filters or airways.
- Empty bin and inspect: Empty the dust bin and check for clumps at the inlet and cyclone.
- Clean pre-motor filter: Remove, tap off dust, and if washable, rinse under lukewarm water. Allow to dry for 24 hours before refitting.
- Clean post-motor filter: Tap gently to remove dust or replace if heavily soiled.
- Check wand and tools: Look through the wand and each tool for obstructions. Remove any debris.
- Test suction at main unit: Run the vacuum with no wand or tools. If suction is strong at the main inlet but weak at the floorhead, the blockage is in the wand or head.
