Vacuum runs for only a few minutes then stops, battery LEDs show low or flashing

Safety: Do not continue to run the battery to complete shutdown repeatedly; this stresses the cells.

• Fully charge: Charge the battery until all LEDs indicate full.
• Measure runtime: Use the vacuum continuously in standard mode and time how long it runs from full to empty.
• Compare to specification: If runtime is significantly below the expected value for your H-Free model, the battery is worn.
• Replace battery: Purchase and fit a genuine Hoover H-Free replacement battery pack.
