Possible Causes

Clogged floor nozzle, Blocked main suction tube, Severely dirty pre‑motor filter, Failing main suction motor drawing excessive current

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove the battery pack before clearing blockages.

  • Inspect the floor nozzle: Remove the motorized brush head from the wand. Check for hair, threads, or debris wrapped around the brush roll and end caps. Cut away obstructions carefully with scissors and pull them free.
  • Check the wand and air path: Detach the wand and look through it toward a light source. Remove any visible clogs using a flexible rod or straightened coat hanger (avoid puncturing the plastic). Also check the inlet at the dust cup and the nozzle neck.
  • Clean filters: Remove the dust bin, take out the pre‑motor filter and cyclone mesh. Tap gently over a trash can. If the filter is washable foam, rinse with cool water only and let it dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling.
  • Test without nozzle: Reinstall the battery and run the vacuum with only the main body (no wand/nozzle). If E2 no longer appears, the blockage was in the nozzle or wand. If E2 still appears, the main motor may be failing and drawing too much current.
  • Do not bypass protection: If the unit overheats or smells burnt, stop using it and arrange for motor replacement.
