Possible Causes
Loose wiring in floor nozzle, Damaged brush motor, Faulty nozzle PCB, Worn electrical contacts between wand and nozzle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floor nozzle from the wand before opening any covers.
- Check wand connections: Inspect the electrical contacts at the end of the wand and on the nozzle neck. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Ensure there is no corrosion or bent pins.
- Wiggle test: Reattach the nozzle and battery. While the vacuum is running, gently move the wand and nozzle connection. If the brush stops/starts with movement, the contacts or wiring are suspect.
- Inspect nozzle wiring (if accessible): With battery removed, open the nozzle housing (remove screws). Look for loose connectors, broken wires, or burn marks on the small PCB. Reseat any loose plugs.
- Replace faulty components: If the brush motor smells burnt, is discolored, or does not spin freely by hand, replace the motorized nozzle assembly or the brush motor module, depending on parts availability.
- Do not bypass safety: Never bypass thermal fuses or protective components on the nozzle PCB.
