How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum immediately, remove the battery, and allow it to cool. Do not continue using it until the cause is found.
- Inspect floor head: Check for hair jams and belt damage. Replace the brush drive belt or motorized floor brush assembly if melted plastic or rubber is visible.
- Smell source: Carefully smell near the floor head, battery, and motor housing (with battery removed). Identify where the odor is strongest.
- If smell comes from battery: Discontinue use and replace the OKP lithium‑ion battery pack immediately.
- If smell comes from motor area: The main suction motor may be overheating or failing. Professional replacement is recommended.
