Possible Causes
Battery pack voltage sag due to cell wear, High resistance at battery contacts, Internal battery BMS (battery management system) fault, Excessive load from partially blocked airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspection.
- Fully charge battery: Place the battery on the OKP charger until the indicator shows full. A weak battery will often trigger E4 only in high‑power mode.
- Clean airflow path: Ensure the dust bin, filters, wand, and floor head are completely clear as described in the E2 procedure. Reduced airflow increases motor load and current draw.
- Inspect battery terminals: Clean the metal contacts on the battery and vacuum with a dry cloth. Ensure they are not burnt, pitted, or loose.
- Test runtime: Run the vacuum on low power and time the runtime. If it is significantly shorter than the specification, the battery cells are likely worn.
- If E4 persists in Turbo: Replace the OKP lithium‑ion battery pack. If a new battery does not resolve the issue, the main control PCB may be misreading current and should be checked by a technician.
