Possible Causes

Blocked cooling vents around motor housing, Operating continuously on MAX power, Clogged HEPA/post‑motor filter restricting airflow, Battery pack overheating due to internal resistance

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery. Allow the unit to cool for at least 30 minutes before further use.

  • Inspect cooling vents: Check all air vents on the motor housing and dust bin area. Use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dust buildup.
  • Clean filters thoroughly: Remove pre‑motor and HEPA/post‑motor filters. Tap off dust and, if the manual allows, rinse washable filters with cold water. Let them dry completely (24 hours) before reinstalling.
  • Reduce load: Avoid using MAX/Turbo mode continuously for long periods, especially on thick carpets. Alternate between power levels.
  • Check environment: Do not use or charge the vacuum in very hot environments (e.g., direct sun, near heaters).
  • If E5 recurs quickly: The motor windings or battery pack may be overheating internally. Replace the OKP lithium‑ion battery pack first. If the issue remains, the main suction motor assembly should be tested and replaced by a technician.
