Possible Causes
Defective OKP wall charger or charging dock, Open circuit in battery pack, Faulty charge port contacts on vacuum, Damaged charging cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger from the wall before inspecting connectors. Do not attempt to open the charger or battery pack.
- Check outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power is present.
- Inspect charger and cable: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks on the cable and adapter. If damaged, stop using it immediately and replace with an original OKP charger.
- Clean charge contacts: On the battery or vacuum charge port, gently clean the metal contacts with a dry cloth. Ensure there is no corrosion or deformation.
- Try another charger: If available, test with a known‑good OKP charger compatible with your model.
- If still not charging: The battery pack’s internal protection circuit or cells may be open. Replace the OKP lithium‑ion battery pack. If a new battery also fails to charge, the charging dock/adapter or charge port assembly on the vacuum is likely faulty and may need replacement by a technician.
